This newly established physiotherapist was looking for a website and a visual identity that fits his unusual journey (he’s a former biologist) and attitude, something without a stock picture of a rather good looking women getting a massage inside a ‘Zen’ decorated room. Something we liked to do and someone we like to support.
Let this project be our demonstration that illustration or any other form of non-photographic imagery can do wonder for communication, visual identity or graphic design in general. When dealing with certain subjects, photographic representation tends to be either over illustrative, or simply uncomfortable for a wide amount of reasons. On the other hand illustration has the flexibility to convey subtle ideas or -like in this case- create a specific atmosphere while avoiding clichés.
